I was thinking applying to a "career-specific" school like Art Institute (to do web design) but then I realized, "What if I don't do as well as I hope to?"

I'd be stuck and wouldn't be able to switch over to something else.

So, I decided to stick with State since there's a broad array of stuff I could do.
Then there's the "almost everyone at LHS is applying to State" factor, and I wouldn't mind seeing familiar faces at college. :D

I'm glad this year's Winter Break has actually been a break. Previous years I had to do lame projects for classes, which was not fun.

I'm chilling-out as much as I can. Can't wait for exams to be over and next semester to start. I'm still undecided if I should dump AP Calculus for next semester or just endure the torture. I'm still unsure of what we've "learned" with him, and I'll probably have to retake it in college.

I could also take a CAD class online. It's mostly based on product design, so that would be pretty sweet.

The Wii officially pwnz. A few of my cousins came over along with my aunt and uncle yesterday, and they were all glued to the screened as we played and traded spots for a controller (we only have two). Even though the graphics are not the greatest thing in the world, Nintendo did a really great job with bundling so many games on one disk and then packaging it with the console. They played baseball and tennis so many times, I kicked butt at bowling so they stayed away from that game.

They even begged to stay the night just so they could play. I had the Wii at my mom's store, so when we closed I packed it up and made them connect it in my room at the house. I think they finally stopped playing around 1 am, and when I woke up at 7, they were already up playing!

I think it was worth camping 4 hours in 30 degree weather for a chunk of hardware. Really cool how it can bring fun and enjoyment to a bunch of little kids (and adults too).

Score!

Haha, so we go to Staples today to get some stuff. I was going to look for a DVD-Rom because the one I used for my new PC was dying on me. After being disappointed at the over inflated prices for the drives ($40 for a dvd-rom, when you can get one for half the price online and of better quality) I walked over to my mom and she asked me if we should go to the back to look at the office chairs. We needed at least one for the store. We walked down the line of chairs ranging from $130 to $80 and made up our minds that we weren't going to buy any.

Well, we were about to go to the farthest aisle of the store when we see a sign in the furthest corner of the store from the front door. It said "Clearance: High Back Manager's Chair. Black. $29.99." Score!

We bought 3. ^_^

2 are for the store, 1 for the house. We're totally going back tomorrow to see if they have anymore left. Next one is going in my room for my new computer I just finished building this week. Pics of my new rig later.

Hrrmm..

So, the year's almost over.
I'm ready.

I sat through school today waiting anxiously for the time to go by. We were out by now last year; stupid legislation people.

Recent things:

- I got a Razr.

It's pretty sweet. I like the thinness. I kept leaving it everywhere whenever I wore shorts because I didn't have a clip, but I finally bought one at Best Buy yesterday for $10.

- I got my graduation ring.

And I likey. It's shiny. :D

- I switched from AP Bio to AP Physics for next year. I think if my major is going to be Computer Science, I need to be taking more math oriented things.

- SAT this saturday.

I guess the best way to look at is like this: Bring it on.

I really need to do better this time. My last score was mediocre. I'm studying for it this time, and I'm pumped.

- I played Katamari.

The controls are simple, but I still don't get them. What's wrong with me?

- 8 days left.

World Cup 2006. I'm going for Mexico. If we lose, go USA. I guess. If all else fails: Joga Bonito, Brasil!

Oh and we also get out of school on the first day of the World Cup. Perfect.

- Ping Pong.

After my butt got kicked by Claudia, the German, I want to learn how to play more.

I posted on craigslist, and got an offer for a $50 ping pong table. Hopefully, I'll go and pick it up on Saturday after I'm done with my "thank-god-I-got-that-SAT-over" nap.

I don't even know how I'm going to do on exams. English III is going to be a blinder unless she tells us what it's going to be like. After walking in this morning and finding her laughing hysterically by herself at her desk, I don't know what to expect.

Chemisty is going to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Trust me. 75% of the time I don't know what's going on. I feel like I'm getting the hang of it, and then she throws in another rule or technique.

I don't even know why we have to take a US History exam. We all took the AP exam, can't we be rewarded for trying?

I think I'll do fine with Trig, if I study.

Oh and if no one else has noticed,

It's HOT.

Wooo... orange.

Long time no blog.

We played Southern Vance Tuesday and Wednesday. Totally kicked their ass.
Not so much fun playing in the rain Wednesday. Especially since their number 16 kept talking trash to my and trying to tackle the mess out of me.

I was taking the ball down the wing, passing their sorry excuse of a defense when the next thing I know I'm on the ground inside the penalty box. Refs blows the whistle and I'm in pain. Yep, I lied there thinking whether I should stay and start crying or get up and shake it off. I decided I didn't want to look like a wuss in front of these losers and got up, teary-eyed.

Number 16, oh how I wanted to smack her. She flew right at my knee. Then tries to make everything better by a simple "Sorry. " No, not with me. I don't take sorries when you've been talking trash.

I have a little bump above my knee, and it hurts. X(
Emily wanted me to take the PK. I declined. I felt I was going to explode with anger.

Whatever, we won. 6-0 Wednesday, 7-0 Tuesday.
Go Warriors.

I painted my room orange during spring break. Looks pretty sweet.
I'll take a picture sooner or later.

I GOT IT!

I got it last Wednesday.

Yeah, nuff said.

Oh, free xbox 360. I can dumbfound people with my ball control, but I'm slow at running.
Gah! Now I know what Roark meant when he said he could feel each individual muscle in his body because of the pain in The Fountainhead. My quads -wow- are so stiff. My lips and throat are dry. My calves are sore too.

Getting up from this chair: not an option unless I have to pee. (LOL!)

My speakers are ghey. They died yesterday right before a soccer match started on PPLive. I bought some cheap-o ones from NewEgg for $7 ($13 with shipping).

I bought a PGP for my PSP that should get here soon (hopefully).

They're supposedly the best case you can get. There was blue, black, white, and red. I went with blue. You can also customize them too. You can make your gfx, print with photopaper, and voila!

I just realized I bought 2 Logitech products today. Even though, ironically, it's what I'm doing right now.
Teachers should be jailed for assigning projects over holidays. I have to write a 1000 word research paper for Chemistry. I could be having fun, sleeping, learning guitar, etc. but I have to write. I hate writing. Writing is fine when it's not forced upon me but when I have to write about something I have no feelings for, I can't stand it.

Christmas was ok. I wasn't expecting much. I got an early Christmas present. A camera (for that dreaded chemistry project). It's nice. Sony. 5 Megapixels. Video recording capabilities. Yeah, it's nice.
I bought myself a Gamecube. Since they're decently priced, I thought, "What the heck." There was a big sale at Toys 'R' Us. Bunch of video games for $10. I would have gotten there when they opened but since I don't have a car and license, I had to wait for my mom to hurry up. By the time I got there, I got leftovers. Only picked up Ratchet & Clank, Pikmin 2, Metroid Prime, and something else...

Anyway, I love Pikmin 2. It's awesome. The pikmin are so cute and I love strategy/puzzle games.

I reopened my website, ComplexThought.net. I did a custom skin for the forum. I'm so proud. :D

I also got a cheap guitar from my aunt's boyfriend. He messed up his fingers at work so his guitar was gathering dust. I asked him if he could show me how to play, but he didn't know. So, he just let me keep it.

Let me tell you, guitar does not is not as easy as it looks. My finger tips are getting hard from learning the G, C, and A chords. I still can't get them either! Ugh, it's frustrating but I'm going to keep at it until my fingers bleed! I can sort of play jingle bells on the e string, though. :P

Anyway, I have to finish this paper on Polymers... ugh.

Things to Look Foward to

Tomorrow:
1. No Woot! for people running amuck trying to get a $30 dvd player at Best Buy.

We were out the door by four today to try to beat the rush. I thought we were going to Raleigh but we went to Durham instead. When we got to the New Hope Commons shopping center, the whole place was packed - at 5 in the morning!

We went to Best Buy first. My brother and I got out at the front door and my mom drove off to look for a parking spot. I took her a while because people kept parking in random places. While inside, I tried walking through the aisles without bumping into a bunch of aisan and hindu people in the computer section and video game section. It was complete chaos. We thought about buying something but the lines were just too long. So, we walked out and went to the McD's inside Wal-Mart and ate breakfast. We bought some more Christmas decor and left.

We headed towards Dick's Sporting Goods (yay!) and I went inside with my brother while my mom stayed inside the truck to get a nap. We went to see the soccer stuff. I was hoping to buy another ball but they only had size 4. So, we walked to the back and looked at the shoes. I was looking at the indoor soccer shoes and saw some adidas Sambas. I also saw some adidas Pulsado indoor in metallic blue. So I asked to see a size 8 in both of them. They only had the samba so I tried them on.

Ohhhhh....So comfy....

They even have arch supports. I haven't eaten all day.

HURRY UP!!!

Germany?

I was in 3rd period today and was asked to pass out some scholarship sheets certain people got. I started passing them out and sat down and read mine when I was done. It said "Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship." Looked interesting so I read on. If I enter and I'm selected, I get to go to Germany as an exchange student. Well, going to a new school and spending my senior year away from home was sort of a turn-off but I began to remember... Germany = 2006 FIFA World Cup!

Going to Germany started to begin to sound like a good idea, but I'd probably get homesick pretty quick.

Mike Shinoda?

So, I was watching MTV last night and this little hip-hop video clip starts playing. I looked closely and saw Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park except he wasn't singing with Linkin Park, it was some other guys. The song sounded pretty good. "Fort Minor" popped on the side of the screen so I decided to Google it today. It seems like he started a hip-hop band or something. I really like "Petrified" so I guess this means I'm going to be torrentspy looking for this:

Fort Minor: The Rising Tied

I might even physically buy it, LOL!

McD's Monopoly Stamps

I'm looking for these specific stamps:
Boardwalk [#5022]
Tenessee Ave. [#5010]
Virginia Ave. [#5008]
Vermont Ave. [#5004] *Really want this one*
Mediterranean Ave. [#5001]

If you have *any* of these, please contact me ASAP!

Boring Week

This week was ok.
My C++ class is still going shitty.

I went to the first QuizBowl meeting. Pretty fun. Although, I need to brush up on some of my current events and old ones too.

Chemistry Group projects were also supposed to get finished this week. Editing a research paper to cite your sources is not fun. Mrs. Ferris should have mentioned that before we started writing. At least Laura, Camilla, and I finished it. Some people hadn't even done their paper yet.

We took the truck to the shop and finally got it back today. Looks good as new.
I was starting to like the Nissan Altima they rented us.

I went to a conference field trip for minorities yesterday. I'm not racist or anything but sitting in a short bus with 8 black people singing church songs gets annoying very fast. Then having ride to and from the place next to Dora. I turned up the volume on my Zen Micro before she started "freestyling."

I did have fun with Trevor, Kerry, and Jairus. We were standing in a hall outside of the North Carolina Wesleyan College cafeteria. Trevor started saying Hi to random people. Some would stare at him awkwardly and quietly say Hi, some would just look at him awkwardly. Then a guy and girl passed by and Trevor said "Hey!" The guy turned his whole upper body to look at Trevor and asked the girl "Did he jus' say Hey?" Trevor looked at him and nodded and the guy said "Oh! Heeey!" and kept walking.

We couldn't stop laughing at Trevor. It was so hilarious. The cafeteria food was pretty good too. Better than Louisburg.

I'm watching Chelsea v. Blackburn. They were tied 2-2 at one point. I was hoping Chelsea would finally lose but now they're up 4-2. :-/

Poor Sport Trac...

Well, today we (my mom, brother, and I) were on our way to school. I was getting dropped off first and I was about to be late if the traffic police guy didn't hurry up.

There was a white toyota mini van in front of us. My mom and I knew who it was. It was a former customer that got pissed off at us because we told her we couldn't sell her phone card's over the phone anymore. We'd give her the PIN and she'd come by and pay us later that afternoon (That's what she'd say), but she would come several days later to pay and go back home, call, and ask for another.

I wondered and asked my mom if she had a license. She came from Mexico a couple of years ago. Yeah, ilegally. It's pretty hard to get a license nowadays in NC. My mom just shrugged and said, "Probably."

Well, once it was our turn to go, we turned to Allen Lane and rode down to the main parking lot entrance. There was two lanes and my mom took the inner (left) lane and the lady took the outer (right) lane. My mom didn't want me to be late so she slowly sped up a little bit (just a little) when all of a sudden the lady turns to the left to our lane. I heard my mom quickly apply pressure to the breaks while I was looking foward. I'm always nervous when we break and I usually close my eyes (riding in a vehicle is like getting on a roller coaster to me, I always think people our out to crash into us.) and I'm used to my mom breaking in time. This time she didn't. I heard a crunch and the sound one hears when a hubcap falls off a wheel (which was probably the pieces of plastic from the headlight falling onto the asphalt of the parking lot). My immediate thought was, "Oh no she just didn't (turn into us)," but she did.

My mom parked and got out. I couldn't because I was on the passenger side staring into the back row of the mini van. So, I had to crawl over the center console and out of my mom's door. Mr. Blice and the campus officer came over and asked if we were ok. Everyone was because we were going like 10 to 5 MPH. I looked over and saw the crunched side of the truck. I turned around and looked at my mom and asked her if I should stay or go. She told me to go to class. It was like 7:44 and the tardy bell rings at 7:45. We were almost at the back of the parking lot near the gym so I had to hurry. I walked as fast as I could. I would have ran if it weren't for my 1 ton bookbag packed with 1.5 inch textbooks and notebooks. Well, I was a few seconds from being late and thinking about the accident actually kept me awake during 1st period.

What a way to start a Friday, huh?

Oh but wait, I guess I had to find out if she had a license the hard way. She did, or else she would have been fuxor'd.
At least she has good insurance; Nationwide. They work pretty quick and are taking full responsibility. Last time my mom had to deal with someone else's insurance was when our old wagon was completely totaled. The guy was drunk, high, and had the worst insurance ever: GMAC. They took over 6 months to pay our red wagon back. They didn't even pay for hospital bills and whatnot.

Oh well, the truck'll probably be fixed next week and we'll feel weird riding around in a small rental car.

What? I always looked around to see what type of boots everyone on the field was wearing. I also looked around online at different types trying to find some good ones to replace my cheap model adidas with.

Well while I was browsing soccerpulse.com's forums one day, I read a "coming soon" thread of different boots coming out. I saw a new model of adidas Predator Pulses that were coming out and decided those were the one's.

The price ($199) was kind of discouraging until I found an eBay auction starting at $99.
I quickly bid but someone thought they were going to deprive me of my Pulses and started a bid battle (not really a war, just a battle) and I won the auction for $117.49. Best deal ever.

I got them a few weeks ago and started breaking them in and so far, they're awesome.

Like Peter (Family Guy) would say they're freakin' sweet!

So I Am Taking the PSAT..

So yeah, no one told me that all the sophomores and juniors were automatically taking the PSAT. Until today when Mrs. Hobgood was calling out people that were taking it.

It's all good now, I can take the PSAT now and the SAT in the spring.

My C++ teacher is crazy. She was going to use a C++ textbook that had assignments and everything that we could do but the book is out of print. Well, she made us get this other book "Sams teach yourself C++ in 24 hrs." a self tutorial like book and today she tells us we're not going to use it anymore.

OK, WTF?!

I feel like kicking her arse. It made my usually pathetic weekend suck even more. Oh well, it hasn't rained for a while and "mother earth" needs it.

School's been boring. 6 weeks have passed and my online C++ course still hasn't gotten on a roll. We haven't done anything significant. The instructor basically told us to "ignore the course." Maybe if she realized she can't handle 10 classes by herself we could get something done. So 4th period is teagames.com time. I'm sure it'll get blocked by the sysadmin sooner or later but I'll get around the blocker anyway.

I'm so glad I did well on last Thursday's Precal Algebra test. Got a 97. I got a 31 on a one question quiz the other day. Mrs. Hobgood better not do that again. It totally killed me. One little mistake screwed the whole problem up.

I've been wondering if I should take the SAT sometime soon or take the PSAT for practice. The PSAT is on Wednesday. So maybe it'll be to late to sign up (and I'll be stuck in there with a bunch a sophomores). The subject's just really worrying for me. I stress too much...

My school's technology sucks. The network already has a virus. It's so hilarious. I've had the same computer since 2001 and I've only had 1 major virus infect it. And I was able to fix it in a day or two. It'll probably take the school weeks or months. It sucks because we can't get on the internet until they do.

Things need to stop being so boring.

Someone kick this hoe

Update: HAH! SHE LOST!

Ok, so this past week during school student government stuff has been going on. In the past, I usually don't care who's running for president, vice president, etc. I just circle the names I know on the ballot. Well this year, Dora Moore, which I vehemently despise, decides she want to run for vice president. I think "no way am I going to vote for her." I mean, I get the right to choose, right? Well, this chick thinks that if she bugs and begs enough, people'll vote for her.

You'll probably want to know why I hate her so much. Well, she's this short, fat... thing that thinks she can "freestyle." I'm annoyed just by looking at her. She tries to walk "gangsta" and ends up tripping over and bumping into things (sometimes her own feet). I don't understand, I've never disliked anyone like this. Usually I have a reason for hating someone, like people that have tried making fun of me or given me a hard time in the past.

Ok, so the other day, I was sitting in Pre-Cal Algerbra waiting for class to start when she stands up (visibly nervous because of her shaking hands) and she puts up her arms like she's some sort of rapper or something and says ,"Now where my juniors at? Vote for me for vice president," and the room suddenly got quiet (I swear I could hear grasshoppers chirping outside). Brandi, infamous for telling people to "bless their heart," says "Aww Dora, I'll vote for you," in her bless-your-heart tone. Some of the seniors laughed at her and other people just ignored her.

The next day in US History, she was complaining to Mrs. Ford how the school elections was a popularity contest. Well, duh. What did you expect? Then, during class while the rest of us were trying to pay attention to Mrs. Ford, she passes around a petition to allow people running to campaign a few minutes after third lunch. She just wanted to make people stay after third lunch to listen to her beg. I don't know what the people who signed were thinking, but someone suggested that she should wait for the pep rally on Friday instead. So, she did. I don't know if she did anything during lunch because I don't even go to lunch anymore. I just go to the library to work on the school's site.

So, on Friday, I see her cutting up sheet's of little rectangles with messages on them. I just roll my eyes and go on with my business.

Well, near the end of the day, I'm down at the gym entering and looking for a place to sit and watch the pep rally were everyone get's boo-ed. I look ahead and see her running around giving everyone on of the little slips of paper. She gives me one and I sit down, read it, and use it to wrap my gum to throw it into a garbage can later on.

Well, I took off the gum just so I could scan it so everyone can see and laugh at her with me..

That brown stuff is my left over gum...

Now that I think of it, I can acuse her of threatening me. It says in the school's handbook that one can get suspended for threatening someone. She's clearly threating my life I don't vote.

Heh, I'm just kidding. I wouldn't go that far...

Say Bye-Bye to El Perico

Yep, that's right, the beloved El Perico is closing.
I just talked to one of the girls that works there and she says the former Chinese owners of the building sold out to Taco Bell.

She also said the owners of El Perico are in a hurry to find another location in the center of Louisburg before they're kicked out in 2 months.

Well I hope them good luck... and Hello Taco Bell!

Crazy

Wow, today was crazy.
1st period: full. Mrs. Hobgood is cool but she makes me sleepy. Pre-Cal Algebra may be a little hard. It's also going to be tough with 33 people in there.
2nd period: crazy woman. I thought Mrs. Ferris was mean. This woman freaks me out. She seems wacko but funny. Definately hard class.
3rd period: country accent. Mrs. Ford is loud and she has a funny accent. We got our books and a small homework assignment. Might be similar to the dreadful Civics class from last year.
4th period: nap time. 7 kids, nothing to do, sleep. My C++ course starts Aug. 31. Until then, I can do whatever for 4th.

There's so many new people and freshman this year. Good God. I think I have a headache.
Oh! I wanted to see more!
Oh well, they'll probably come out with a sequel.

The movie was awesome. The black-white/light tan effect was great. The glowing blood was really cool aswell. Really enticing storyline.

Well, school is ever so near. [whine]I DON'T WANNA GO![/whine]
I went to change Psychology on Tuesday to C++, and guess what, they were waiting for me!
I sat on the floor next to the guidance office for three hours! I was #25 on their list and it took them 3 hours. I feel bad for that girl across the hall that was #40 and was late for work (HAHA!). Each person that would go in would take at least 20 minutes to change their classes. I was in and out in less than 5! :P

Once I got home, I see my brother shaking the little lime green box that I had been waiting for since July 13.
Yep, I actually got a free iPod Shuffle from Judy's Book. Sign Up now and you can still get one before August 21. I finished my requirements in 1 day. I haven't really filled it up with tunes yet. It's pretty cool, the headphones are a little better than my Micro's. This one's definately coming for the run once soccer season starts up again.

Oh yeah! I finally finished Fountainhead. I liked it, let's hope I do good on the test.
I also got my C++ registration confirmation a few hours ago, I wanted a sneak peak but I couldn't get one. :(

Well, that's about it...

Dude, WTF?

Ok, so I just opened an envelope from the school and inside I find my schedule.

Well, I can understand all the Honors and AP class but where's C++ and Computer Apps 2. When I walked out of the house yesterday morning, I was looking down at the steps and saw a newborn kitten on the ground. Not one of the kittens born four weeks ago but a kitten born a few hours before. I went running to get my mom and she picked it up and put it with the other kittens hoping the mom of that litter would give it milk (its mom was no where to be found). It didn't look like it would live, he had short, barely visible breaths.

We went to Wake Forest to do our usual bank depositing and when we came back, the kitten was by itself breathing normally and crawling all over the place. It was covered in flies because it still had the placenta attached. So, I went inside to get some thread and scissors to tie off the umbilical cord and cut off the placenta. I picked it up and took it to the kitchen to clean it with a warm wet cloth. At that point, it was breathing sporadically. So I took it to the store and put it in a box next to the window so it would get warm.

I was heading towards the house when my brother saw the mom in the store's crawlspace. He went to the house and got a flashlight. I peered in and saw another kitten moving next to her. We called her to come but she wouldn't budge. My mom brought out the other kitten and showed it to her, she sprung up and came to the opening leaving the other kitten behind. My mom took her inside and I was left with the duty to go down under and get the other kitten.

I grabbed the flashlight and crawled in fearful of coming across a spider or rat. I finally got to the kitten and discovered that another kitten was lying next to it. The kitten wasn't moving or breathing, but I brought that one with me anyway. I slowly and cautiously turned around and crawled out. My brother was outside and I gave him the kittens. He went back to the store and I ran to the house to take a shower.

There was no hope for the other kitten, it wasn't going to spring to life, so we did away with it.

The other kittens are stable and very cute. They look just like their mom. But what are we going to do with so many freakin' cats? We didn't even know the cat was pregnant!

Not Much Left

Wow, Summer break is almost over. I can't say if I'm excited that we're going back the 25th or scared. I'm always nervous to go back to school. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I don't see people at school during the summer and seeing them again is just weird. I'm just not a very social person. I was a little during last semester. I think joining the soccer team helped me a lot. I got to meet new people and make new friends (too bad some of them were seniors; won't be seeing them next semester). The whole experience was a lot of fun. I can't wait 'til next season (Heck yeah!).

I hope this year will be easier. Last year I felt like a dumb rock sitting in honors classes. I think my span of knowledge grew a lot. At least I'll know all the kids in honors, unless there's new kids but that won't be a problem.

I don't want this year to be so depressing. I felt like a failure last, last semester. I want to actually be glad to go to school everyday like the first semester of Freshmen year.

I think I'll be more "active" this year. I'll be managing the school's website, playing soccer, maybe I'll join Quiz Bowl, and I'll be doing whatever the National Honor Society does.

I just want to go to school to learn and have fun.

Blah

I don't know what to post about anymore. Everything that goes on during the day is so unworthy. I don't do much but sit on my ass all day at the store (not good). I go outside and juggle for a few minutes but it's so hot that I can't take it any more.

I have about one fourth of the fountainhead left. I would enjoy it much more if I didn't have to take notes.

I let my kitten sleep in my room at night, he usually takes the top left corner and falls alseep. Today he poked me in the face with his wet cold nose to try to wake me up. He purred into my ear and poked me on the nose. I heard a soft thud and woke up. My door was cracked open just enough for him to run out. I then heard my mom in the bathroom say "Vaca? Who let you in?"

Yes, I called my kitten "Vaca", also known as Cow in English. The patterns of light brown on white reminded me of a little cow when I first saw him. Although he acts very scared towards me, I still love him. I can get him to stop acting so scared with enough petting and hugging. I achieve enough trust and he stretches out on my lap and begins to purr.

He's so cute! :D

Kitty Pictures

Ok, here they are:
http://photobucket.com/albums/y178/Psyc/Cats/

Five were born, 4 dark colored ones and 1 yellow/golden one.

Chitty is having kitties!

Ok, I started noticing that Chitty, one of my cats (look for her pic in the archive posts), was acting weird. Then she started panting and kept going to use the bathroom (I think they were contractions but she didn't know the difference). She kept meowing like she was crying for help and she looked very nervous.

Well, about 30 minutes ago, she had her first kitten. It's black and white. A few minutes after that, she had another. It looks somewhat the same as the first (Oh God, don't make this a pattern). I think she's having her third right now.

I hope they all come out ok. It was pure bliss. I got a Moo-Latte card. Buy 5 and get one free. We went again last night and my brother got one too. 2 more Lattes to go. I've had Mocha, Capuchino and some of French Vanilla. So far, my favorite has to be Capuchino.

I downloaded The Pacifier yesterday and watched it today. It was good, I always like Vin Diesel's movies. It had some funny scenes. It was similar to Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. Vin Diesel, or Shane, has never had a family and becomes attached to the family he has to take care of.

I also went to see Madagascar on Saturday. It wasn't as bad as every critic said it was going to be. I laughed several times. The lion gets beat up by an old lady. A kingdom of lemurs dancing to Reel to Real's "I like to move it." Agent/Spy/Military penguins. I enjoyed it.

Mexico played against Greece today. They scored but the goal wasn't counted. According to the refs, it was offsides. The replay proved that it wasn't but oh well. Can't change a ref's decision. Final score was 0-0.

One of my mom's customers rubbed my swollen ankle yesterday. I wanted to scream several times but I held it in. He did a pretty good job. He pulled my toes and they actually popped, I couldn't get them to pop for several weeks. He also got rid of the weird feeling I felt on my ankle whenever I walked. So, now I don't have to limp. Next time I twist something, I'm calling him ASAP.

I've been trying to broaden my Music Library, I'm not really good at exploring bands and artists. I downloaded Green Day's "American Idiot" album to see if I like it. I may try some Yellowcard. I soon heard "Fuck you, mother fucker!" So, I got up and tip-toed to my mom's room and woke her up and told there were some people outside arguing. The people were still arguing and my dog, Suzu, was barking at them like crazy. The funny thing was that I couldn't see where they were from my mom's bedroom window.

I went to my room and looked out my window and saw a woman across the street at the gas station and a man coming towards her. They were arguing at each other and about someone else. The man kept saying "Ima kill him!"
They soon crossed the street and sat on the steps of my mom's store. When black people get mad, they do stupid things. Trust me.

So, I went back to my mom's room and told her they were at the store. I asked her if I should call the police to come and tell them to leave. She said if they broke a window or the door, the alarm would go off. So, I went to my room again and they still wouldn't shut up and go home. So, I got my cellphone and dialed 911. The fire department answered (WTF?) and I told the guy that answered what was going on, he gave me another number for the police department but by the time I hung up, they were gone. So, I didn't call the cops and went back to sleep.

Some people just need to keep they're personal problems inside their home. I don't need to know about them. That was the first time in Louisburg that I was awaken by people fighting outside. I hope it's the last.

Anyway, I got my final report card in the mail the other day. I'm no longer a lower classmen (Oh yeah! :D ). My grades were surprisingly good. Especially my exam grades. Going to the dentist is fun. It's not fun when they tell you that you have two cavities. I've never had a cavity in my life. I always brush, floss, etc. My brother, on the other hand, doesn't brush in months, doesn't floss, and drinks soda all the time. I don't know if he remembers what water tastes like anymore. I was expecting him to have at least four. But no, his teeth are perfectly healthy. At least my teeth aren't crooked. He looks like a beaver with really crooked teeth. So, HAH!, he has to get braces.

I got my hoodie today from Eastbay. The first person (female) didn't know what the heck I was talking about so, she put me on hold. The second person (male) said, "Creative...Zen...Micro... Oh yeah! We have the 5 gigabyte in black." So I ask, "Do you have dark blue?" and he says "No, but when you push the buttons, the white text turns blue." Me: *sigh* "So, you don't have dark blue?" Him: "No"

I honestly wish that whoever is hiring these people gets with the program. He really needs to get people that know what they're selling and what customers are talking about.

So, I decided Best Buy was not the best place to get stuff from and ordered online.
I also got a great deal. I payed $169.95 for the player and $14.95 for 2-day shipping. Making a grand total of $184.90. I was looking at the mp3 players they had on display while a Best Buy employee came. I looked at the Zen Micro they had and it was awesome. It's almost as big as my cell phone, and my cell phone isn't very big. I picked up the iPod to show it to my cousin and the security alarm went off. So, I put it back down and went back to the Micro. Right after the alarm on the iPod went off a Best Buy guy came to the register. He was talking on the phone and ignored me after I looked at him a couple of times. I guess he thought I was just some stupid teenager looking at the mp3 players without plans of buying one. I finally went up to him and asked if they had the Zen Micro in dark blue. He just looked up, nodded and said, "We just have black." Ughhh...

I didn't want black, so I left.
I can't believe they didn't have any colors besides black. There's 10 colors and they only had black? That's really sad.

So, I'm going to try to go to the Best Buy in Raleigh to see if they have it. I tried calling them yesterday but no one answered. Maybe they will today.

Note to self: Never order from Eastbay again

Eastbay sucks. I sent them an email with a complaint and they told me they were going to send me another one and that I'd receive it on Friday. Gosh, I already waited enough. I won't be able use it until autumn, until it gets cold. I ordered it so I could wear it in class when teachers put the AC on full blast. Oh, well. Won't order from them again.

I made some steamed bread last night. It took 4 hours to prepare the dough. I went to sleep at 2:20 am (Yes, I'm crazy). I saw Shaolin Soccer a few months ago and wondered what the bread that they ate tasted like, so I decided to make it. Once they buns were done steaming, I bit one and chewed. I was not disappointed. It was De·li·cious. The buns were spongey and when I squished one in my hand it would inflate back up. I was so proud of myself. I tip-toed into my brother's room, woke him up, and gave him a bun.

Him: [stares at white ball in his hand]
Me: [whispers] Eat it, eat it.
Him: [takes a bite]
Me: [whispers] Isn't that good?
Him: [nods, like, 5 times]

I tried putting them in a tortilla warmer to keep them warm but they kept the lid from closing. It was really long though. I probably made a B or a C because I suck at describing plots, heros, irony, etc. in essays. Mrs. Blevins gave gag awards and I got the "I'm not quiet, I'm just watching you" award. heh.

Tomorrow is the last day of school -thank god- and I'll have to take the Algebra II exam. I just have to read the whole book and I'm set.

I went to Wal-Mart last night and found $200 at the entrance (wow). I should have reported the money, but c'mon $200! I felt bad after we left because it was very unethical, but what would have you done? I knew I was going to get a kick in the ass for doing that and I did. When we were going back home a dog was on the side of the road running around. I was driving and pulled the truck toward the center to avoid hitting it. Low and behold, the dog ran into the road. Me, being the inexperience driver that I am, didn't know what to do. I closed my eyes (not good) and I don't remember whether I braked or not but I beeped at the dog. Beeping didn't do much because I still hit it. I didn't stop because I had someone behind me but I should have. I didn't sleep very well last night.

Time goes by so slow

Comp. Apps. test was easy. I didn't appreceiate the people that were trying to cheat off of me. I had to cover my answer sheet every now and then and picked up speed. I finished all 100 questions while the cheaters were on numbers 50-60.

I'll probably suffer a heart attack when I get tomorrow's test. I know I'll probably blank out when I have to write essays. I've been trying to study for this test but I don't know how. Mrs. Blevins, why didn't you give us a study guide? I would be in a better state of mind right now if I had one. Grammar, writing, and literature are not my fortes.

I also read a little bit more of Fountainhead. I like it so far. Tomorrow's exam, Comp. Apps. I, is going to be a breeze. I'll study the notes just to make sure I pass.

I went to Barnes and Noble last night and got The Fountainhead for summer reading. The book is huge! I was going to get a smaller $9 version but I liked the bigger $20 version more. I started to read it last night when we got home. I only got passed the first page. Taking notes for this book is going to be a biatch but it's better than having to write essays. Ugh, I hope I'll be able to read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince too. Oh well...

Today's my uncle's birthday. There will probably be tamales, mole, and cake.

Meh, I better get back to studying. Mr. K told me I didn't have to take it. He said I would still pass but I took it anyway. I think I finished first and a lot of people were complaining it was too hard. How pitiful.

After everyone was done we were anxiously waiting for the bell to ring. Once it rang, all hell broke loose. Everyone was running towards the parking lot to leave. My mom and I sat in her truck for about 5 minutes until we could move. We were boxed in by other cars waiting for kids. Then we had to take a detour to avoid road work. We finally got to the store and I slumped down on the computer to fix the skin. I finally got everything to align except for the side. ------>

My exams next week are Computer Apps I (easy), English II Honors (hard), and Algebra II (maybe easy).

I'll just work on this stupid sidebar for now.

The Blog is going to look funny...

Ok, the blog is going to look funny for a few days. I'm not to worried about French II. I mean, Je sais parler francais. Once I get done with the class, I'll keep on learning it. That way, I can be tri-lingual (Spanish, English, French). I'm still going to cram before the test anyway. At least it'll be multiple choice. Multiple choice tests make everyone's life happy. The teacher can grade them quicker and the student doesn't have to remember the correct spelling of doctor or engineer in French.

Today was also Awards Day. Yours truly got Perfect Attendance, Web Page Design Winner for 9th & 10th Grades (NC State Fair 1st Place), Kodak Young Leaders Award, Outstanding Achievement in Computer Applications I, O.A. in Biology, and O.A. in French II. Yeah, that seems like a lot, but the girl next to me, Kerry, got way more than that. So, congratulations to Kerry,me, and everyone else that got awards.

I also had the pleasure of proving to Valentin that Cristiano Ronaldo is an outstanding soccer player (and sexy aswell).

I loaded a few videos to my flash drive last night and showed them to him in the library during lunch. The iPod looked really nice, trendy, etc. but it's very pricey. How would I ever fill up 20 gigs of music anyway? So, my desire was lost, until I saw this:

It's the Creative Zen Micro. It comes in 10 different colors (dark blue, sky blue, black, white, organge, red, silver, lime green, pink, and purple). Theres 3 versions 4gb, 5gb, and 6gb. I'm going to get the 5gb, but, of course, I have a problem. The number one problem to my never ending desires, money. My goal is $202.98 (Price: $199 + Shipping: $2.99) and so far I only have $81.

I have no idea how I'm going to get the money, but I'm going to please my desire. I work at my mom's store but I don't get paid, but she provides food, clothes, and a roof over my head.

The only way I'm sure I'll ever reach my goal is by doing stuff I'm good at, which, by the way, is web design.

So if any one that reads this needs a web site design or a graphic design for a range of prices (from $1-$50), email me, leave a comment or IM me because I need money!

If anyone wants proof of my work, this http://fcschools.net/LHS/ and this http://photobucket.com/albums/y178/Psyc/ should help. The first link is my school's website, which I designed from scratch and the second link is my graphics gallery that is updated all the time.

...so bored...

School=Boring<sup>2</sup>

I'm ready to get this over with.
Je n'aime pas l'ecole. I woke up at 6 to go to Sam's Club with my mom. The truck's tires were really worn and choppy. The ride to Durham wasn't very smooth. We got there at about 8:10-ish because 1: I was driving and 2: I was stuck behind a big crane thing that wouldn't go over 50 on Hwy 98. At one point, I think I went all the way down to 35 mph.

Once we got to Sam's, we went inside and a woman helped us pick out new tires. We picked out the Michelin X-Radial LT. Hopefully they'll last longer than the cheap-o Goodyear Wranglers we had. When we were paying for the tires, my mom's Sam's card wouldn't scan. So, we had to go to the customer service desk to get a new one. Good thing there wasn't much people.

While the truck was getting its new shoes installed, my mom and I walked around and got several things for the house and store. We got several gallons of milk, frozen pizza, rotissorie chicken, orange juice, bottled water, etc.

The truck was ready once we finished shopping, so we packed the old tires, water, and some other stuff in the truck bed and the rest of the stuff in the back seat. We took off and the ride back to Louisburg was smooth.

We got back after 11, we were supposed to open at 9. Once we got to the store, people started arriving to buy pre-paid phone cards and to send money to Mexico. After the rush died down, I had the pleasure of taking all the suff out of the truck (including the old tires) and taking them to the house or store. The jeans I was wearing got really dirty so once I got done I went to the house and changed into some shorts. I wanted to try out a telescoping car wash brush my mom bought the other day, so I told my brother to put on some shorts and a t-shirt and help me wash the truck.

When we got done, my brother went inside and I stayed on the lawn juggling my soccer ball. I finally got the hang of stalling the ball on my foot and flicking it up to my head. Now I just have to get it to stall on my head after flicking it up. I went into the store after a few attempts of stalling it on my head and got on the computer. My mom told me to stay and attend the customers because she was going to cut the grass behind the house. I told her it was ok and I would do it. So, I ran outside and started mowing the grass when my brother came and told me to go to the store. I told him to continue cutting the grass while I was away. Someone wanted me to make some back-up copies of two CD's so I did and he gave me $10 for them. When I went to finish the grass, my brother was already done so I cut the grass behind the store. I went inside for some water and then went back outside to juggle some more. My uncle arrived with his Taco Truck and started setting up. My cousin came out of the truck and showed me her digital camera, so we took some pictures of random stuff.

Suzu, my cousin's dog.

Mimi, the mom.

Emmy, named after the faint M on its forehead, born on April 4, 2005.

Chitty hiding behind some plants.

My kitten. We would have taken more but my cousin forgot to bring her battery charger.

When we were closing, we all heard the screeching of tires. I was coming out when I saw a white F-150 screeching its tires and coming off the road into the parking lot of the store. It regained control and took off. I saw a guy go across the street with a motorcycle helmet toward Wrenn's. I figured out what was happening when I saw his motorcycle on the street. He was gripping his arm and crying out "Shit!" Another man that was pumping gas went over to him and signaled to the people inside the gas station to "Call the cops!" The motorcyclist took off his helmet and coat and went back toward the street to get his bike. Traffic momentarily stopped to let him get it. When he looked at the damage he kept shaking his head and crying out "Shit!' I don't know whether he fell and the truck was about to hit him or if he got hit by the truck and the truck ran. At least he was ok.

My brother and I went to the movies to watch Kicking and Screaming. I don't want to spoil the plot but it was good. It had some funny parts and the soccer playing was way better than what I expected it to be. None of the kids played swarm ball, but some of them did do some step overs, and scissor kicks. We got back home at 11:30. I took a shower and hit the sack.

Today, I woke up and made some breakfast. When I got to the store my mom made me mop and once I was done I opened CoolStreaming to watch the Manchester United game against Southampton. Manchester United won 2-1 but I was a little disappointed that Cristiano Ronaldo didn't play.

T'is Friday!

Yay! I'm glad I'm not out playing soccer in this 86 degree weather.

Today was fun.

There were only 7 people including me in my French class. Most of the people in there are seniors and all the seniors were invited to a "Senior Breakfast" at the Murphy House.

Mr. K decided to give us a free day by letting us watch a movie. He couldn't find any french ones so he put on a dubbed version of Footloose. I stopped paying attention through the middle of the movie. I was amazed when Kevin Bacon (Ren) said, "No mames!" to Chris Penn (Willard) because I have never heard a movie use that kind of Spanish slang before. "No mames" basically means don't suck but it's supposed to mean stop joking. I also discovered that I have a 98 in French II. Oh yeah!

In second period Mr. B wasn't there. We had a blues/jazz/R&B loving sub. He was at the back of the room playing music. It was ok, but boring. I was also called into the guidance office to get some award details straight for an award ceremony next week. The guidance couselor wanted to know about me placing first in the NC State Fair Webdesign Contest in the fall.

In third period we had to finish a handout on Nectar in a Sieve that was given weeks ago; I still didn't finish it.

Lunch was fun, very hot, but fun. Adan, or "Hoe-dan" kept quarreling with Vanessa. It was funny to watch them go back and forth calling themselves several names.

Fourth period was boring as usual, the only thing that I was happy about was no homework.

Right now, I'm just sitting here with my 1 month old kitten.

Ughh...Boredum

School is boring.

In French, I took a test and then I went to sleep.

In Computer Apps. I we just did busy/review work. I was also called into the principal's office. No, I didn't do anything bad. I just got a 'Certificate of Achievement' and a fuzzy blue and orange L (or, according to Jason, an Academic Letter). Oh, and I just noticed they spelled my last name wrong, again. Jeez, if they see that there's no apostrophe between the O and the C then why do they add it?

In English II I continued writing my research paper. It's coming along nicely. It was also very quiet because people taking the AP Civics class were away taking the AP test. Half of the class was gone. I hope they did well, I wouldn't have taken a $70-$80 test just to fail it.

Algebra II was ok. Today's lesson was Direct, Inverse, and Joint variations. Pretty easy.

My mom bought a new weed whacker. The old one broke. The weeds in the backyard too their toll. I'll probably be the one doing most of the grass mowing and weed whacking this summer. My brother is too slow to even be able to turn the weed whacker on.

I feel incomplete without soccer practice. It was the only thing that I looked foward to everyday. Now all I have is homework, and that's not something I will ever look foward to.

Well, I better finish my paper and Algebra worksheet.

First Post

Well, here's my first post. I signed up for blogger a long time ago with hopes of getting a gmail invite, might aswell use it now.

Today was really boring at school. I woke up, got dressed, combed my hair, and put on my contacts. I had trouble with the left one, it kept falling out. I ate breakfast: eggs, cheese, and sausage inside a toasted hamburger bun. We ran out of sliced bread.

I got into my Mom's truck (Red Ford Explorer Sport Trac) and went to school. Once I got there I walked into my first period, French II. The usual teacher, Mr. Kotchetkova, wasn't there. The sub gave us a lot of 'busy-work.' I had to complete lessons 9-12 in a French workbook and probably won't receive any credit for it. I was tired as crap and had a runny nose, so I took it easy the rest of the day. Frist period was pretty boring, I just sat there working with Valentin and talking about soccer. I told him about Manchester United's tie against West Brom. and he told me how AC Milan is better than Inter Milan. He also asked me if the girls soccer team had won against Bunn yesterday. Unfortunately, we didn't. The first half we held them off 0-0. Then at the beginning of the second half, they scored and we scored a few minutes after that. I felt, and I knew I was playing pretty crappy because I didn't get any shots on goal. I think it was because of my sinuses and the heat. I did get past Bunn's defense a few times, the defender against me was a joke. She was big though, I felt like she was going to run me over a couple of times. We scored again but then they scored four more times. Our starting goalie, Emily, held them off pretty well but she got caught off guard most of the times. On one of the goals, one of Bunn's foward took a shot and it bounced off the post, but another player ran up and finished it off. That's basically what happened with the other goals, the ball would bounce away from our goalie and someone would finish it. Their field was pretty shitty anyway. Really uneven. There were little splotches of grass here and there and pebbles everywhere else. I think everyone made sure they didn't try to slide tackle anyone. The final score was 5-2 and everyone on the team was PO'ed or just bummed out. Since it was our last game of the season, we went to TCBY for some ice cream and then headed back home.

In second period I slept like a log. I took 2 XL-3 pills for my cold so I think that had to do with my sleepyness. Mr. Batkoski let me nap because I basically own in that class. It's Computer Applications I; easy as pie.

In third period, English II, I worked on my research paper. The topic I chose was The Roswell Incident. Yeah, I believe in UFO's so, shut your face. I think I got a lot done, the note card method that Mrs. Blevins uses makes writing the paper really easy.

During lunch, I didn't feel like eating and I didn't have any money so I couldn't really buy anything. I was feeling thirsty though, so I asked Rafael to buy me a cup of fruit punch and promised to pay him back tomorrow. He said ok and bought it for me. So during lunch I just sat at 'The Mexican Table' outside drinking juice.

Finally when 3rd period finished, I went to 4th. Algebra II has been really easy for me since I'm not taking Honors. I would have taken Honors but it's during 3rd period, the same period as English Honors II. Once I got in class I went over my notes for a test on Chapter 8. I did the warm up questions and then endured Mrs. Garrison's explination on Exponential Functions. I think I did well on the test, it seemed easy. I'll have to wait for tomorrow on the results.

For now, I'll just play some Weezer, 311, etc. on Winamp while I finish my paper, review for French, and read Nectar in a Sieve.
